Spring Peony Festival in Ueno, Tokyo

redpeony.jpgLast rainy Sunday, I visited the peony garden next to Ueno Toshogu Shrine.
It is still slightly early to enjoy peonies but I could see some beautiful flowers.


garden.jpgOver 200 types peonies are planted in the calm Japanese style garden.
