If you're in the mood for a drink, the place to be for Sendai's nightlife is the Kokubu-cho area. With over 3000 bars and restaurants assembled, it's the busiest entertainment area in all of northeastern Japan! Here at JTB Sendai, one is never enough, so we always carry the party on to the next pub! Now that it's April, Kokubu-cho is filled with revelers continuing their cherry blossom parties and new hires being welcomed by their companies. Of course, besides alcohol Kokubu-cho has a variety of ramen noodle restaurants, grilled beef tongue barbecues, and sushi shops. Live it up in Sendai's Kokubu-cho!
